Portal

I'll admit that those portals are convenient. They let you move hundreds of kilos of goods from the warehouse below to the lab above in an instant. But I can't help but feel nervous every time I have to use them... They're Deviations, after all! What if they go out of control? What if they teleport me or this entire research center to the bottom of the sea or outer space? And if these portals are as safe and reliable as Director Shaul Ⅵ claims, why aren't they using it for long distances?
