Covering the Retreat

Citrus County has been lost, but we're still here, facing off against the Marauders. There are too many Deviants at the bridge, the only way to cross the river right now is to swim. And then there's the Stardust mixed in with the water to contend with... And we're moving too slowly. There are still women and children yet to be evacuated. Those folk at the Eastern Railway Junction have turned their backs on us. They haven't sent anyone to help us. They say that Simon Meyer has built a new shelter on the floating island in the delta. We could go there, but only if we manage to hold off those bastards. And then, we'd have to cross the river, then the southern marshlands, which are full of Deviants and Stardust pollution...
