Friendship between the Rosetta elite and those dirty surface survivors is frowned upon, let alone romance. And yet, people turn a blind eye to certain things... Relationships are allowed to blossom, wild, secret, and free. Do you know what you can get for a handful of rust-free screws with the survivors? A nice juicy steak? A decent bottle of booze perhaps? Dream on! These survivors have been in a state of quasi-starvation for years. Anything they can forage or hunt in the wilderness is poisoned, and will drive you into insanity. There is only a small amount of unpolluted arable land left, and it gets less and less fertile with each harvest. They manage to grow just enough to keep them from resorting to cannibalism, and not much more. But it is still possible to do business with these people... They may look like humans, but they've long since forgotten what it means to live with dignity... It's worth paying them a visit, I'm telling you. Ha!
